Meet Gilmara Amado
Welcome to Amado Energy Solutions (AES).
I am Gilmara Amado, Founder and Principal of Amado Energy Solutions, a certified Minority- and Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (MBE/WBE) dedicated to helping organizations manage energy as a strategic asset.
With more than 15 years of experience in energy management, energy efficiency, sustainability, and project delivery, I have worked with municipalities, commercial building owners, institutions, utilities, and industrial facilities to reduce energy costs, improve operational performance, and achieve sustainability goals.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, a Master of Business Administration (MBA), and industry-leading certifications including Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Certified Energy Auditor (CEA), and Project Management Professional (PMP).
Throughout my career, I have seen firsthand the value that an Energy Manager brings to an organization. Companies that actively manage their energy performance are better equipped to control costs, plan capital investments, reduce carbon emissions, and make informed business decisions.
That is why AES was founded—to provide organizations with access to the expertise and support of an Energy Manager without the cost of a full-time hire.
